June is Migraine Awareness Month — but migraine doesn’t take the other eleven months off. People miss work, miss milestones, and miss out on their lives every single day. And most of them do it quietly, because they’ve learned that “it’s just a headache” is the response they’ll get.
That changes when more people understand what migraine actually is: a complex neurological disease that affects every part of a person’s life. The more that message is out there, the more people feel seen, seek help, and get the care they deserve.
One post can be the thing that makes someone feel less alone. That’s worth doing in any month.
Post these on Instagram, Facebook, or anywhere your community gathers. Print the flyer and put it somewhere it will be seen. No credit required — just share it.
Pair these with any graphic from the kit. Pick the one that fits or remix it in your own voice.

This Migraine Awareness Month, I'm sharing my story. I've had migraine for ___ years. The hardest part isn't the pain — it's _______. If you have migraine too, share yours below. The more visible we are, the harder we are to ignore.
Things people don't know about my migraine: 1. 2. 3. Drop yours in the comments. Let's make the invisible visible.
A list of things I've missed because of migraine: Weddings. Birthdays. Workdays. Conversations. Versions of myself. A list of things migraine has given me: Empathy. A community that gets it. A finely-tuned sense of who actually shows up. What's on your list?
If someone in your life has migraine, the best thing you can do this month is believe them. Don't suggest essential oils. Don't suggest yoga. Don't suggest "have you tried…" Just ask what they need. That's the whole assignment.
You don't need to understand migraine to support someone who has it. Allyship looks like: holding their place, dimming the lights, taking the kids, bringing the soup, asking nothing of them. Be the friend you'd want to have on a bad pain day.
If you've never had migraine, you can still help. Share posts. Talk about it. Believe the people in your life who tell you what they're living with. Use your voice for the 1 in 7 who can't always use theirs.
